South Commons Park was today a splendid venue of Block Party hosted by a joint venture of Homeless Reform Project, Dwelling House of Hope, and other collaborating organizations, to celebrate those that have recovered from alcoholic and drug addiction together with those that are still in recovery process. Summer street was decorated with very colorful and beautiful tents and mobile units all packed with palatable dishes to feed our brothers and sisters out there and all attendants of the said Block Party. It was a delightful gathering where the Chairperson of HRP met with many that expressed networking interest .

Emails of collaboration are expected to be received by Florence from next week. This event attracted convoys of fully armed security personnel. We thank all that initiated and planned this event because it was spectacular. We particularly appreciate and thank a young barber Kenny, (courtesy of HRP), who offered free haircuts supported by his friend Fred Nyaga. This barber, whose competence is exemplary, trimmed more than twenty persons without asking for a dime. We say to you Kenny..BRAVO! God shall surely remember and reward you bountifully. We cannot forget the Lowell City Authorities, the Sheriffs, and Elliot Church staff who ensured there was security, provided chairs as needed, and collected all garbage.
