Today’s feeding was sponsored by Lucy Lulu’s family and friends. A homemade hot meal was prepared by our chef Lucy, and our friend Wambui contributed a full tray of African fried dough. We truly appreciated the large turnout of youth who assisted with serving food and distributing drinks, under the guidance of Hassan and Senga. A brief meeting was also held with our friends to discuss treatment and rehab options. It went well, though decision-making remains challenging. We remain hopeful and will continue the conversations next week. A WhatsApp group was created for those interested, with the goal of providing a safe, judgment-free space for sharing and support. God bless everyone who participated, and special thanks to Eliot’s Church for allowing us to use their dining space.
